What is your Fair Use Policy?

We think that the number of pieces of mail you receive at your Stable address should not be a deciding factor in choosing a provider.

Updated over a week ago

Mail Volume

The “Grow” and “Scale” Plans each have a limit of 100 pieces of mail per month. This limit resets at the start of each monthly billing cycle. If you consistently receive more than 100 pieces of mail per month, a $2 overage charge per piece of mail may be added.

Based on historical usage of our customer base, we have seen that receiving 100 pieces of mail per month far exceeds the needs for most small to medium businesses.

If you consistently receive more than 100 pieces of mail per month and begin to incur overage charges, our Sales team will reach out about finding a plan that best fits your needs.

Note that we do not include spam mail in this count — obvious pieces of junk (flyers, brochures, etc) will be filtered out and not be included in your mail count.

We believe that mail reception volume (i.e. the number of pieces of mail you receive at your Stable address) should not be a deciding factor in choosing a virtual mailbox provider and we understand you may not be able to reasonably predict how many pieces of mail you expect to receive.

Scan sizes

We cannot scan documents or envelopes that exceed 8.5" x 14".

We also have a limit of 250 pages per scan. If your scans exceed 250 pages (very unusual), we won't be able to scan your document. We cannot scan magazines or bound books.

Packages

Packages should not exceed our volume limit of 25 pounds and 2ft x 2ft x 2ft, and these packages will typically be returned to sender.

We cannot handle perishable items, such as food or flowers. Our facility is unequipped to handle food, and perishable items will be disposed if they are delivered to our facility.

Other

Stable will provide notice of if a customer’s usage is in excess of this limit. We reserve the right to stop any customer’s use of Stable services that exceeds the usage allowance included in their plan, or that appears to be abusive or is unduly burdensome.
