How AI Summaries Work
When we scan your mail, we generate a summary that appears directly on the mail item card in your inbox. You can view the summary without opening the mail item.
Who Can See Summaries
Any user with permission to view a mail item can also view its summary. Summaries follow the same access controls as the mail itself.
When Summaries Aren't Available
Summaries only appear on scanned mail items. We can't generate summaries for mail that hasn't been scanned because we don't know what's inside.
Some scanned items may not have summaries for a variety of reasons, such as if the scan doesn’t contain any text.
Accuracy and Privacy
AI can make mistakes. We recommend reviewing the actual mail contents before making important decisions based on a summary. Learn more about how Stable uses AI.
