How Stable routes and manages mail
How Stable routes and manages mail
Updated over 7 months ago

Managing and processing mail quickly and securely is our highest priority. Mail is managed differently for Stable business addresses and Registered Agents, which we break down below.

Business addresses

Stable operates a primary mail processing center in San Francisco, where mail is directed for secure, compliant, and efficient handling. This includes tasks such as scanning, forwarding, shredding, and check depositing.

Initially, your mail and packages are delivered to your selected business address (for instance, in Delaware). Subsequently, all mail is sent from that location to San Francisco (about 2–3 days of forwarding time) for processing.

This is applicable to all our business addresses, with the exception of our San Francisco address. Since it is situated at the processing facility, there's no need for further forwarding.

Despite the forwarding process, all our business addresses offer the same benefits, services, and customer support.

Registered Agents

To learn more about the difference between Registered Agents and business addresses, read our guide.

Stable has Registered Agents available in all 50 US states. When mail arrives at a Registered Agent, that mail is processed and scanned at that same location (always with the option to forward to your Stable business address).
