How Long Does Stable Store My Mail?
We store all physical mail for 30 days at our facility. After that, it’s securely shredded.
Before we shred anything, we’ll send you a reminder via email so you have time to take action—whether that’s scanning or forwarding your mail.
This 30-day window helps us keep operations running efficiently, allowing for faster turnaround times and easier retrieval of documents and packages. It also supports our commitment to secure mail handling by limiting how long sensitive information is physically stored.
If you need the original document, we recommend forwarding it to your desired location before the deadline.
What About Scanned Mail?
If you’ve requested a scan, the digital copy will remain available in your Stable dashboard indefinitely. We store all scans securely and permanently on our servers—at no extra cost.
Scans are free, so we highly recommend opting in to ensure long-term access to your mail!
