For your address to be recognized by entities like the state or IRS, and to ensure all of your mail is sent to your new Stable address, there are two additional steps to plan on:
Complete the mail authorization form (5 minutes)
To receive mail at your Stable address, you'll need to submit a signed mail authorization form (USPS 1583). This gives us permission to handle mail under your name. You'll provide some basic information about yourself and your business as part of this step.
Change of address (10 minutes)
If you have a previous address on file that you'd like to redirect mail from, you can complete our change of address questionnaire. Answer a few short questions and we'll create a personalized set of tasks to help you:
File a USPS Change of Address to automatically forward mail from your old address to your new one.
Update your address with the IRS, your vendors, and state agencies.
You can work through these tasks at your own pace. Some tasks take just a few minutes, while others may take longer depending on the number of vendors and filings that apply to your business.
