What is a document scan?

A document scan is a digital copy of the contents of your mail.

When you receive mail, we always send you an image of the exterior of the mail. From there, you'll see the option to scan your mail. When you click on that, we'll open your mail for you and scan the contents of it.

We'll then upload the digital copy to your Stable Dashboard, where you can read the document. There is no storage limit on this digital mail, so you'll be able to reference it whenever you need to.

Scans are free and included in every plan, so we recommend scanning every piece of mail you receive, even if you plan to ship it to yourself too.
