What happens if Stable receives mail for me before the authorization form (USPS 1583) is completed?

We'll notify you and hold onto your mail for 30 days before returning it to the sender.

Legally, we need the USPS 1583 form on file for us to handle your mail for you. If we receive mail for you before the form is completed and signed, it will show up in your Stable dashboard, but you won't be able to view or take action on your mail.

If we don't have the form on file, we will still maintain the 30 day storage deadline to give you a chance to fill out the form and take action on your mail. Once the 30 days have passed, however, your mail will be returned to sender.

As soon as the forms are completed and verified by our team, all mail you've received within the past 30 days will be available to take action on in your dashboard within one business day or less.
